NSC还是比较靠谱。去年九月递交，副卡比主卡需要多半年。在主卡拿到半年后批。
估计过了processing time 的cases，NSC有一个程序（protocol），每个月都会看一次
，一旦background 查清，没有其他问题，会马上批。
其中， 叫参议员问了两次，两次之间隔了两个月。 递交申请一个星期左右，就有了
NSC的答复。省心，省事，准确。（在之前，打电话T1转T2，态度极差，没有一点信息
。令人恼火，纯属浪费几个小时时间。 ）
第一次： 递交7个月后，
USCIS records indicate that a background check process was initiated in XXXX
I-485 case;and is not yet complete. We understand the applicants'
frustration; please assure the applicant that USCIS is striving to resolve
these issues as soon as possible. Once USCIS review is completed , these
cases will be processed as expeditiously as possible under applicable laws,
regulations and policies. Unfortunately, we cannot state, at this time, when
the review process for this application will be completed. .....
(就是第一句话有信息，其他都是安慰的话。)
第二次：递交9个月后，
From a review of USCIS records, we are actively processing this I-485 case.
The inquiry may include contacting with other government agencies or USCIS
office for updates or more comprehensive information. Once USCIS review is
completed, this case will be processed as expeditiously as possible under
applicable laws, regulations and policies. Unfortunately, we cannot state,
at this time, when the review process for this application will be completed
. .....
(就是第一，二句话有信息，其他也都是安慰的话。)
第二次询问后，过了两周就批。第二次的意思，估计是background已经基本clear，但
是还有一些出入境，签证的小事，正在从USCIS的档案查， 还有其他的？
对于NSC的cases，大家就放心，background清后，不会耽误。不会被用来垫茶杯，垫桌
脚。
