Earnest: If Trump Government Crossed "Red Lines," Then Obama Would Return To
Political Debate
Former Obama White House press secretary Josh Earnest talked to MSNBC Monday
and shared what would make the former president weigh in on politics.
Earnest said one example would be the Trump administration using the names
on the DACA list to deport those not born in the U.S.
it would represent a "broken promise" that the former president made.
Earnest also said a "departure of values" or an "egregious violation of the
norms of governing" by the Trump administration that crosses a "red line"
would drive Obama back to the political debate.
Earnest, however, said Obama's "intense desire" is to stay out of the fray.
