Minnesota this week quietly began allowing residents to select non-binary
gender option on their driver’s licenses.
The state’s new license software, which allows Minnesotans to register for
newly strengthened driver’s licenses, was launched on Monday, according to
the Twin Cities Pioneer Press.
Those registering for new licenses can now select “X” instead of “M” or
“F” if they do not identify as male or female.
