Synopsis
(alert: super bad piss-me-off ending)
Charlie is a cop. Joey is the victim of an assault case. Joey was afraid to
testify for fear of exposing her sexual orientation. Charlie convinced her
to stand up. Joey's brother found out she's gay and kicked her out. Charlie
let Joey stay at her place.
Love is in the air. The two were inseparable for a while until Charlie's
sister Ruby (who later turned out to be her daughter, talking about twists)
made her realize that Joey was falling for her. Charlie tried to distance
herself from Joey.
Joey left with a broken heart. The perp from the assault case tried to kill
Joey. Charlie arrived just in time to save Joey. Later, Charlie kissed Joey
and convinced her to go back to her house.
Charlie felt confused. "All my life I have been straight until now," she
claimed. She went away for a week to think things through.
Charlie returned and admitted her love for Joey but of course it had to be
kept a secret.
Ruby caught Charlie and Joey kissing, went mad at first but soon turned
supportive.
Joey's brother filed complaint against Charlie, claiming that she seduced
Joey. Charlie was upset, so upset that she slept with a guy???!!!!!!! (
Stupidest plot ever!!!!! The writers were in such a hurry to write off the
relationship due to complaints from conservative groups they forgot to use
their heads.)
Joey found out about Charlie's one night stand in the most bizarre and
unconvincing way. She couldn't forgive her?! (Please, just look at Charlie's
face. How could you not forgive her!!!!)
