笔记本是必要的。买小一点的吧，携带方便。

个人认为有个laptop，从1L就开始练习敲键盘记笔记比较好。速度比手写明显要快，整理
起来也更方便。多数法学院已经推行用laptop考试，好多州甚至允许用laptop考bar。

配置上不懂，但是出于方便考虑自然是越轻越好。天天背来背去的东西呢。

Definitely have a laptop, better with built-in wireless network card. It's so
much faster to type on a computer than to take paper notes. And it easy to
copy and paste them to make your briefs and outlines. I think most schools now
allow you to take exams on your computer. But some old fasioned school like
ours requires floppy disk drive to take the exam. If that's the case, you got
to have a notebook with floppy drive.
