又厚脸皮上来问白痴问题。我昨天把家里翻遍了，终于在一个小夹子里找到了珍贵的
OPT卡片。。但是approval notice for OPT怎么也找不到了，那个notice好像是插卡的
。我很有可能丢了。请问只提交OPT正反面够么？？？我死活找不到approval notice,
招来rfe，但我还是找不到，怎么办啊怎么办

在我看来这个哥们真的是一个很牛逼的人，不但很有智商，还很有逼格，想要耍一点
儿小花样就把警察玩弄于手掌之中？哥们，你是搞笑的吧！
为什么要说这个哥们能装一手好逼格呢？他在喝醉酒之后没有遵守相关的法律法规
，仍旧拿自己和他人的生命开玩笑，毅然决然的选择醉驾上路，这不，一个不留神，一
不小心的把别人给撞倒了！发生这样的情况，一般有两个选择！要么马上下车看看伤者
的情况，积极的配合救助，承担一切的责任和惩罚。要么加大油门，来个漂移，全速冲
刺，能跑多远算多远，能躲几天算几天！这俩种处理办法，那哥们看都没看直接选择了
第三种！第三种是什么呢？他在撞倒别人后先是下车检查伤势，然后选择火速的逃离现
场，跑了一段距离后，他又开车返回，若无其事的站在路边围观，即使警察询问，对于
自己犯下的错误，他也左推右辞，不要承认……
在真相面前，任何的谎言都会自己破裂，他的谎言也不例外，对于他的行为，我只
能说，这个哥们的机智没有用到正道上，真的是装得一手好逼格啊！

小评：此趟沙漠野花探索行遇到的第一片花海，也是最艳丽，最容易去，却又最容易错

3 ex4200 chain together. one master, one backup and one is linecard.
i do not see all the interfaces from master.
i do see all the interfaces from linecard switch.
some of these interfaces are configured differrently between mast and
linecard.
i am assuming that if this is a cluster (of three switches), they should
have only one management interface. say, if i have 10 in a cluster, then
there would be 8 linecard, do i have to go into these linecard to
configure
a port?
or just my setup isn't working properly.

主要是中文版与英文版。

I have got an offer from a Chinese U last week. The school has only one
junior position this year. I was told to sign the contract with the
university president, not the dean of economics school. The date to sign
the contract has been postponed due to unknown reasons.
I urged to sign it now so that I could arrange for the things of
graduation. But the president is always busy, i am not sure if I should
make a real plan right now for the graduation. Please kindly advise me
when I should have the official contract, or extend I-20 for another year
of the program. Thanks.

offer是用什么形式给你的？电子邮件，电话还是什么。如果是电子邮件，把电子邮件
，把邮件保存好。如果是电话，发一封邮件，去confirm offer内容，比如从什么时间
开始，薪水多少等。告诉他们自己接受了offer，现在正在申请毕业。收到
confirmation后，把电子邮件保存好。
正常情况下，学校应该寄给你一封信（offer letter）.收到offer letter就安全了。
不过一般没有听说过学校下了offer后又反悔的，不然太伤RP了。国内一般对劳工合同
不是很认真，所以可以理解他们不是很认真处理这些书面上的东西。一般双方说好了，
合同只是一张纸的问题。祝好运！

law school只要能用word就行，哈哈

X61 is an excellent choice, and I would recommend get the extended battery.
Or MacBook, you can get the new one starting from 999 using the education discount or

Thanks. The offer letter was sent with a pdf attachment by email and signed
by the dean, but it didn't specify the date to hire. I confirmed it by email

Correct. This is why i am not sure it is a good place to go. They don't
have people graduated from the Western, but they have more than 50
faculties with domestic econ PhD. They they told me that they would start
to recruit a small group from the US in the coming two years, I would be
the first "USA turtle".

I don't recommend Apple, even if the school says they support them. You
never know what problems you might run into, especially during final exams
and during your bar exam.
I think the Thinkpads are a solid choice. I used the T-series and never had
any issues. Is the X-series more compact? You might not want to get a laptop
that's too small, because you'll be taking notes, writing outlines, sending
resumes, taking exams, basically spending your next 3 years on it. Heh heh.

我自己的电脑只放在家，所以弄的很大，看着比较爽
可真每天都背来背去，还是有点怕怕
再想想那么多书啊case啊什么的，哎呀
要是能又大又轻该多么美好
X61好像是12寸屏
我自己觉得有点小，但不知道轻下来的重量是否值得这个小屏幕

听上去不是很地道。
如果有第二选择的话，用它做杠杆推一下对方。如果没有的话也要做最坏的打算。
另外你完全可以一边推一边做I-20延期。大不了先工作后毕业，这不罕见。

I looked at X61 and T61 and finally decided on the T61. The X61 is much
lighter and cooler but it doesn't come with a built-in DVD/CD player. I am
quite a functional idiot and don't want to deal with an extra box. Have just
received my new T61 one day before. I am very happy with it.

Yes you are right. My T61 does feel a little bit hefty, but bearable. I
kinda like the solid sturdy feel of it.
If you do love the X61 then go with it. You can get some add-on DVD/CD
player for it.

主要考虑因素：
1.稳定性：我认为这是最重要的，因为你绝对不希望在上课途中甚至是考试过程中出现
死机的情况，苹果机在这一点上有其优势，特别是对电脑不是很精通的同学来说
2.便携性：当然是越轻越好，X61大约重3.5磅（4磅如果是用8cell的电池）法学院的
case book真的可以用来“防身”的，一本Con Law的书至少有5磅
3.键盘：这个是用的最多的，一定要选一个用的顺手的，我个人觉得Lenovo做的挺好
X61tablet就是多了个可手写的屏幕吧，没什么大用
还有就是要有刻录功能，因为考试后需要将文档刻到光盘上。（X61需另外购置）
Asus 的Eee PC也不错，如果不觉得键盘小的话

joke aside, 我不懂交换机, 不好意思, 不过我试图回答一下你的这个问题吧.
cluster? 我们叫VC. Virtual Chassis.
从你描述的现象来看, 配置应该是错的.
正确配置后, 这个VC(or cluster? whatever)应该只有一个console口和一个me0 IP地址
就是不管你从10台里哪一台的console插进console线, 显示的都是同一个.
me0也是如此.

没事，我看了点手册，基本上搞明白了。
发现一点，你家的交换机还是有灵活性的。
通常别家的layer3 interface 名字，和layer2的是一样的，
比如，layer 2, 是vlan 200， layer3 的旧是，interface vlan200。
你家的，vlan 200，可以按上任何 layer3 interface. say interface vlan1001.
只要把 vlan 200 和 interface vlan1001 拉一块就成了。

layer 2 vlan 主要是关心，那几个端口在一块。
vlan 之间的通信，要么是bridge, 要么就是经过layer3.
如果，是layer3, 就的按个ip。
一班就按在，interface vlan xxxx. 上。
很明显，如果可以随便地换layer3 interface 的名字，会给配置vlan 之间的通信带来方便。

比如我要换个ip，时时看，
就在加个 interface vlan xxx.
ip address xxx.xxx.xxx.xx/24
在把2个拉一块就好了，原来的 layer3 interface 还在，
试完后，再把原来的拉回来。

思科NP考试最喜欢考的是router on stick，这个才是属于，就是说不同vlan要routing
才行。

看不懂啊，为什么layer 3随便加名字就方便了？
比如vlan20和vlan30要通信，我no switchport就enable了route interface，很清楚就
知道哪2个要通信了。
你非得弄个vlan102和vlan103，然后说这2个要通信了，然后再去查，原来vlan102代表
vlan20，vlan103代表vlan30，不是好麻烦的啊？

你要那么搞的话, 你这个no switchport的interface在物理层面只是一个端口啊.

in ex, interface vlan is a pseudo device. you cao configure vlan unit xxx
into a layer3 slice of this pseudo device.
there is another entity called vlan, not interface vlan, that is the real l2
vlan where you can configure the ports and vlan-id
so you can associate one l2 vlan of vlan-id yyy with one l3 vlan interface
vlan.xxx

cluster怎么会和virtual chassis扯上的啊。
而且，virtual chassis不是J家专有的，打开6500白皮书，里面也是VC，还有VM，所有
的都是这么叫的。
倒是C家的nexus好像是用另外一个IOS，扩展性好一点，没用过，听cisco过来的人说，
听上去很牛。

ex 45xx, 42xx 的virtual switch, 不知道是不是和斯科的 6500 VSS 对应，还是喝
3750 的对应。斯科的 4500 还不支持 VSS，这点上是不是有点落后？
我做过一个6500 的VSS， 2 年了，一点事没出，就是一点钱也没赚到，不知道是好还
是坏。但我有个朋友，后来也做过同样的项目，据说每个月，宕一次，估计这小子缵了
不少：）
