Job Requirements
Leadership - This is a self-starter, proactive role for a shipping business
unit within the eBay Marketplace. You must be an extraordinary communicator,
confident in speaking to user-designed solutions, and technical enough to
make designs better through collaboration with Developers.
Hands-on Skills required - Must be able to visualize at a very tight level
through mock-ups, prototyping, wireframes and through 'appropriate'
visualization that meets the stage of development.
Assume excellent skills in the following;
All Adobe CS tool Suite ( Photoshop, Fireworks, Illustrator, Dreamweaver,
etc)
Demonstrate skills & knowledge of the following technologies and their
benefits / uses for interactive & front-end development (JS, AJAX, Flash,
HTML)
Primary Job Responsibilities
At eBay you will envision, design, and iterate the most compelling user
experience solutions that our customers experience on Marketplaces around
the world in various product platforms. You will partner with product
managers, user researchers, and front-end engineers to take advantage of
opportunities we have in the e-commerce space and address customer pain
points with your user experience passion and design creativity.
As a Senior Designer for the Global Managed Marketplace Design team, your
job is to be an ambassador to the user experience. By taking a proactive
approach to designing rich user experience solutions, you and your team
drive end-to-end experiences through a thoughtful end-user approach.
This is a seasoned role with the excitement to design for a key business
initiative. The Senior Designer is the a key partner in helping visualize
the business, the product experiences and proactively iterating on these
models and simulations to move the product forward.
