我觉得直译的话，后半句比较晦涩。我喜欢这个版本：
假如我不曾见过太阳，
我也许能够忍受黑暗。
可如今，
太阳把我的无人之地；
照耀得更加荒凉。

后半段是隐晦到底谁导致谁 newer wilderness ，都不能说的清楚所以我用让我用
迷茫取代荒凉是选取一种解读阳光让我们看到更多才知道有更多不懂的
shade 翻成黑暗也不合适感觉是作者在阳光被挡住的地方而不是完全黑暗的世界走
到阳光下然后

Light and Wilderness were capitalized, while other words starts with lower
case.
does that mean those words are special meaning?

wilderness sounds more like uncharted water/land/world.
this sounds to me more like the author has been wandering around in a dark
area for a while. ze originally feeling maybe the rest of the life will be
in the dark, or maybe the whole world is dark.
then ze sees some light at a distance or something.
after going over to the edge, ze sees there is a complete new map with sun
lights.
so now go explore the next stage.
my 2 cents.
