My company recently transfer 401k account from jpm to vanguard. In my
experience, JPM has a good managed account. But, I don't know how is the
managed account in vanguard performed? I believe there are a lots of people
in this BBS have vanguard account, but not sure how many of you have managed
account? I mean good or bad is relative to sp500 3 year curve(long term)
and 6 month curve (short term). I called them, they do not provide any curve
, so anyone had any experiences?

应该填短表的married filing jointly还是长表的married filing seperatedly？
貌似都不好填，f1nr的时候f2不能申请itin

那肯定USC没得说，快而且南加的通讯电子公司比较多，读Master
就不要太注意科研实力了，虽然USC的通讯应该派前五。

要到国内的公证处或国外的领事馆开，中文和英文同时出来了，不需要照片，但开之前
，你可能要从你家那嘎达的派出所开证明。十多年前出国前我是这样办的，不知现在变

The broker, according your parameters such as age, salary,etc., does the
trading for you. They buy, sell, a lots of mutual fund, and send the
statements to you every month. No matter win or loss, you pay a certain a
mount manage fee. Basically, you put your whole trust on them. Thus, how
good their manager is is very very important.

我也是出国前办的公证，先拿户口本去派出所开个证明。记得办在美国用的出生公证比
去别的国家的贵一倍。。。

我是上个月回国的时候顺便办的,在派出所拿个户籍证明,然后去公证处,填个表格,200
多人民币一份,多要一份COPY加10块，每份一张照片。

No. The rich people are not allowed to have 401k. Looks you do not have any
basic idea about 401k.

Then I have no idea leh. I don't have such a choice in Vanguard.
I personally won't feel comfortable with that type of trust either.

Or like having a 'professional advisor' presenting you mutual funds with 5%

as financial manager. he offered to manage the
co-worker's retirement money for a mere $6000
per year. he says this is a favor as he normally
doesn't manage small portfolios (under $1MM).
