基本上大家毕业用OPT的时候都是第6年了，这样的话不符合nonresident条件，是不是

排期是2005年12月底的,但是就是不绿, 网上没有任何update,跟07年刚交485时一样.
周围的排期在1,2月的都批了, 干着急.
目前我已经:
1. 给 TSC 写过信, 回信说"你的地址已经updated了", 简直是答非所问.
2. 打过电话申请了service request, 说等60天内再follow up
3. 给senator 写过信, 说30天有回复(没有说30天一定adjudicate)
请问还有别的招吗? 多谢

我读书时在东部，到中西部来工作。总体来说，中西部的人不如东部的人sophisticated
，直白了就是粗鲁一些。从好的方面来看，也比较直一些。美国的东部和中西部，有点
类似于国内的北京上海大城市和内陆中小城市。我觉得你不用太在乎别人的态度，你的

我觉得也是这个原因。我和当地一个五十来岁的理发师聊天，他说他一辈子就去过一次
纽约，还是因为她女儿在那里做intern。去过芝加哥两次，说那里人的开车crazy，其
实当地离芝加哥是比较近的。能做faculty的，生活经历比美国中西部一般人的要多得
多。不过，中西部的年轻人要好得多。

要确定一下service request真的有没有做。我打过两次电话做service request, 但当
我去infopass的时候，officer 和我说，电话的service request根本没有record. 我
就请infopass 的officer 给我做一个service request, 然后她还给我了一个referral
number并告知，如果14天还没有结果可以再打电话到service center给他们referral
number 就好了。（不过我的绿卡在infopass四天后就批了）
local的officer也说这种事只是举手之劳，不知道service center 到底怎么做事的，
我觉得你应该多打几次电话，总能碰上一个真做事的人。

就请infopass 的officer 给我做一个service request, 然后她还给我了一个referral

not that i disagree with this, my problems with the proposal are:
1) the gov't stands no better chance at running the banks than the free
capital market.
2) this is a move mostly driven by political motives. had the democrats won
at massachusetts, this probably wouldn't have come out.
3) the govt's focus is still not on the job market! after roosevelt took
office in 1933, he ran huge fiscal program trying to solve the unemployment
problem with little to moderate result. the economy was finally s
