两层的房子，一楼的餐厅、书房，和二楼的游戏室都朝北。我觉得北边一年四季不见阳
光，阴阴的不舒服，想加个窗。不过因为东面是车库，只有加西窗。LD说俺们德州太热
，加个西窗夏天太耗电了。

餐厅书房什么的相对最不需要阳光的在北边，因为只有这样才能换来客厅主卧早餐厅等
最需要阳光的房间在南边，简直是perfect设计，别在整什么西边窗户画蛇添足了。

最需要阳光的房间在南边，简直是perfect设计，别在整什么西边窗户画蛇添足了。

If you like more windows you can add this kind: Triple-glazed with Low-Solar-Gain
Low-E, Argon/Krypton Gas Insulated Vinyl or Fiberglass Frame.
Should not increase your cooling cost too much.
But if you only want to add light (not view), I would suggest you add a few
light tube. I have put in a few solartube brand for my hallway and basement,
but any brand should be about the same.

Low-E, Argon/Krypton Gas Insulated Vinyl or Fiberglass Frame.
Should not increase your cooling cost too much.
But if you only want to add light (not view), I would suggest you add a few
light tube. I have put in a few solartube brand for my hallway and basement,
but any brand should be about the same.

西晒很厉害的，尤其是texas. 建议家里多装几个镜子吧。

不要去想了，美国的人工太贵，这种东西装不了几个的花费就跟你的房子价格差不了多
少了（尤其是德州房子），有这多余的钱不如买大一点的房子，或者后院盖个sun room

少了（尤其是德州房子），有这多余的钱不如买大一点的房子，或者后院盖个sun room

I'm in Texas， even 12 of 12 months is Summer, I still need the sun!
不过现在这边的新房子多数是加了反光材料的双层玻璃，再装上厚窗帘，夏天没啥问题
，早晚打开窗帘很柔和的阳光照下来，比没阳光的房子强太多了。

one is a little over $100 each and smaller one is less than $100.
Installation is easy if you are not afraid to get on your roof, cut a hole,
put in the tube, secure and seal. I had spent more time, because it was
going to the basement, so I have to plan the tube to go through closet
space on the first and second floor.
The window I suggested is also very good, even without heavy curtain, it
