最近看的一个房子，location很好，价钱也还合适，但是ceiling被水泡过，不是roof
漏水，是plumbing在attic上（slab foundation没有crowl space）, 然后remodel的时
候没有做好insulation, 冬天又没有做好winterization, 结果水管裂了，水渗过
ceiling一直漏到地毯上，这样的房子还能要么？

如果只是ceiling湿了，又及时换了，应该没问题。

if 价钱也还合适 already reflect the ceiling problem (one time only problem),
this house should be fine to buy. You can repair yourself or hire someone
to do it.

this happened after the offer was accepted,so it's not reflected in the
price....the day before our scheduled inspection, the selling agent turned
on the water, and peng.......the tricky thing is this is a short sale and we
're now waiting for the bank to respond. the quote for fixing all problems (
pipe, ceiling dry wall, carpet) is around 10k...
