注意看看里面有白蚁粪便没有，就是那种浅色的小颗粒，如果是白蚁啃得，应该有很多

If it is not caused by termite, I had exactly the same problem as yours in
my door and window frames. No deposit of water, but access of water to the
rotten area. What I meant poor maintenance is that when paint failed and
crack formed, no action was taken. As such, when water reached this area,
water got into the wood and acted inside the surface and caused what you are
getting now.

一般有tunnel的是subterrainean termite，有粪便的是drywood termite
