我们在看一个房子，房子背后靠着蛮陡的小山，lot很小，靠山的地方是有大块石头修
的retaining wall，山上种了松树什么的，地上铺了材料可能防水土流失。
那房子蛮好。我们就是担心下大雨，大雪的不安全。
有没有哪位同学有经验的，给讲讲？

Our house is also 背后靠着山, we loved it very much in the first several
monthes. After that, we found a lot of problems. First is the gopher/mole.
They make a lot of hole in the backyard, destroy the ground and eat the root
of the trees.
Second is the possible fire hazard.
