过了一个酷暑，想乘年底有很多deal赶紧把空调装上。要装的空调是个3tons的。
现找了几家deal来看过了，可是报价差太多。有贵的离谱的，也有便宜的有点不敢相信
的。希望懂行的帮忙看看。先谢过
啦。
牌子：TRANE XL13c 13seer 报价4450，无1500的tax credit 有175的APS rebate
Goodman 13seer 报价3850，无1500的tax credit 有175的APS rebate
TRANE XL14c 14seer 报价6050，可拿到1500的tax credit＋200的Trane
rebate＋425的APS rebate
Goodman 13seer 报价3950，可拿到1500的tax credit＋425的APS rebate
这样下来，Goodman如果安14seer的就会比13seer的便宜很多，貌似3000不到就可以拿
下了。
我们倾向于TRANE 13seer或14seer的，其实14seer的更便宜，但是我们的房子不大，好
像安14seer的还的切开墙什么
的。
还有一家公司报价 TRANE 14seer 报价8632，可拿到1500的tax credit＋200的Trane
rebate＋425的APS rebate
两家差别这是巨大啊。我们当然是价格越底越好，可是在网上做了research，好像没有
这么低的价格。前面有人讨论5000
多的还算便宜的不得了。有点拿不定主意，希望懂行的高手不吝赐教。感激不尽啊。

我们找的报价是10000呀,没有什么REBATE.房子2000尺, 有阁楼,需要做DUCT.你的报价
是不是不需要做DUCT呀.

我们不需要做DUCT。但是安14seer的话管道需要重新改装。好像。我们原来管道太小。

you can post your quote and someone may tell you whether
the configuration is correct or the price is reasonable.

To qualify for $1500 Federal Tax rebate, the system has to be
a very high-efficient system > 15/16 SEER, the upfront cost
is high. My is $7000 before any rebate/tax.
Ask the contractor to give the ARI certificate number of the
system quotes, sometimes they messed up the parameter and model number
and you will not get rebate.
If you don't known what is ARI ， then do research first,
otherwise don't bother to waste your own time and money.

Duct involves lots of labor, that's why it's expensive, it can easily
cost extar $3000 - $10,000.
If you have existing DUCt and work fine ,just ask them to seal the duct if
there are leaks. Or add extra supply or return if the original design
was correct (most designs form original builder have problems)

已经装了空调。4400。主要是我们是小apartment。
给要装空调需要建议的人就是一定要多比较报价，比较才能知道好坏。其他的次之。

我上周才换了FURNACE和AIR CONDITIONER, 要了有5~6家报价, 考虑到品牌的差别, 其
实价钱没差多少, 所以, 就找了家口碑不错的CONTRACTOR.
具体价格如下, 供你参考:
1. Carrier Infinity 96 gas furnace 58MVC080): 5423
2. Carrier Performance 17 Puron air conditioner (24APA736): 4949
Carrier有 $1000的REBATE, LOCAL GAS COMPANY 有400 REBATE, 再加 1500 TAX
CREDIT.
