新房水管爆裂，因为水龙头没关紧。我们有新房WARRANTY，但是BUILDER说这是我们的
无知造成的，不能COVER。
一楼的地板都淹了，怎么半？多谢大家的推荐。太惨了。

Yes, we already contacted the insurance company. However, it is thanksgiving
holiday and they won't come here until next Tuesday.
I am afraid water stays too long time before they come, 5-6 days. Will the
wood get mold? what can we do at this point?

use a wet vac to suck out all the water
remove any stuff that can contain moisture
mop the floor
spray clorox regual bleach and water mixture to kill germs and disinfect,
make
sure the clorox bottle has "disinfect" on the lable.
get a fan to air dry your house
you might want to check your basement also. water could be trapped in those
insulation materials
