I saw couple homes with settlement as well.
our inspectors recommendation is, settlement is common, it's fine as long as
it's not getting worse. also, by analyzing the building structure,
sometimes you can figure out why it has the settlement, for example, there
is no foundation underneath, there are structral damage, etc...
why not ask your inspector?
