The inspector I used said one time treatment is $400. Ongoing annually $600.
Inspector said 1/3 of the houses in this area has carpenter ant.
没啥大不了 -- can you explain why?
It's so difficult to buy a house in my target area, but if this is a big
problem, I really don't want to be concerned with it everyday or for resale.

it does not mean the ants will go away with this cost.Their guarantee is 60
days after treatment, they suggest to come back quarterly for treatment.
guarantee on termite treatment is 1 yr.

After much research, we decide to still take the house. Requesting seller to
cover treatment cost (very small). I hope it will not be too big of an
issue when it's time for me to sell.
