我最开始找的一个推荐人，就是让人家等了很久。不过人家非常好，我把草稿寄过去马
上就签了，比我认识的人都快。

我是3年前找的人，但自己太懒，没申请，现在又找他们，解释了一下。实际上，他们
不会干等着，不会在乎。

I haven't contacted one of my recommenders for 10 months until I emailed him
the draft about a week ago.
and he actually responded faster than my other recommenders. I think he is
just a good guy.
but another guy, also no contact for 10 months, hasn't replied me yet.
just some FYI.

After I got my references' permissions, I started drafting for them, and my
lawyer needed to check all the letters together to make them consistent
before I sent any one out, so the first person I asked waited for more than
two months, but he still agreed to sign the draft later.
It's all case by case.
