You may be eligible for HARP if you meet all of the following criteria:
•The mortgage must be owned or guaranteed by Freddie Mac or Fannie Mae
.
•The mortgage must have been sold to Fannie Mae or Freddie Mac on or
before May 31, 2009.
•The mortgage cannot have been refinanced under HARP previously unless
it is a Fannie Mae loan that was refinanced under HARP from March-May, 2009.
•The current loan-to-value (LTV) ratio must be greater than 80%.
•The borrower must be current on the mortgage at the time of the
refinance, with no late payment in the past six months and no more than one
late payment in the past 12 months.
第二条那个2009年5月31日的条件不满足啊. 但我们的loan agent 说我们可以用HARP.
我问Making home affordable program是什么, 她说is the exactly the same as
HARP. 我已经confuse了.
话说, appraisal的结果也没底很多, 如果补上$2000, 就可以不用那些HAPR什么的了.
这样的话, 是不是就补上算了? 搞这些政府资助的program, 会不会以后有什么不好的

不知道你的loan principle, $2000 不是很多. Govenment program does not have
the major negative impacts later on (except you might be ineligible to be
refinanced again).
If you could do either, please consider the best rate/rebate program.
