多久打扫一次卫生？洗地毯么？用的是不是沃尔玛二十刀的吸尘器？如果偶买了车从来
不按时保养，车里抽烟喝酒吃饭无所不为，然后引擎坏了，轮胎爆了，内饰脏了，皮椅
开裂，偶能抱怨车的可靠性低么？偶认识一些老中除非家里来人否则不吸尘，不收拾房
子，这样就没啥好抱怨地毯脏的了。

In terms of cleaning and maintenance, both require some amount of effort
. Carpet cleaning entails vacuuming it daily, and cleaning it with a carpet
shampoo on a regular basis. Also, carpets are stained easily if you are not
careful around them, and carpet stain removal is no easy task. It is a good
idea to have them professionally cleaned every once in a while. Cleaning
hardwood floors is also essential on a daily basis as per the instructions
provided by the dealer. It should also be re-polished every few years to
have it looking as good as new.
An important concern while choosing carpet vs hardwood is that of health
. A lot of people are prone to allergies from carpets, because over time a
lot of dust gets collected into it. It is also inviting for mites and bed
bugs. This is why cleaning it regularly is very essential. Hardwood floors,
on the other hand, do not pose any such problems.
Finally, when it comes to deciding on carpet vs hardwood, price is a big
factor. Carpet is a much cheaper option than hardwood. Though there are
many hardwood flooring types, the prices vary only slightly from each other,
and are definitely higher than those of carpets. However, an important
consideration here is that hardwood is longer lasting than carpet, and is
more aesthetically appealing. As such, a lot of people are willing to invest
in hardwood floors, keeping in mind its benefits in the longer run.
You are probably now clear about why hardwood flooring is a better option
than carpeting when it comes to home decorating and designing. Hardwood
flooring also adds to the value of a house, something that a carpet does not
even come close to doing. It is easier to clean and maintain, and looks
much better. This is not to say that you should not use carpet at all. In
fact, if you do want to use carpet, use it in places that do not have much
traffic such as a den, or in places that require sound insulation, such as
the basement. If you have to make a choice only between carpet vs hardwood,
then hands down, hardwood is the winner. It is still ultimately your
decision, and you would know what suits your requirements the best.

啊？没有具体指谁，就是generally speaking一下，建议大家不要让懒惰占领自己，无
论地毯地板，都要好好打理。没有付出劳动还期望reward是不现实的。

地毯不容易弄干净呀...
用地毯要很当心，洒杯果汁啥的要费老大劲儿来擦了...
所以我觉得怕麻烦的不如用地板

地毯还是舒服许多，地板也未见的就干净到哪去，全看给谁用了
再说地板上也得铺area rug吧，秃着多难看

cotton rugs是machine washable的。
地毯肯定舒服多了。主要是有些人家里比如我们实在是太脏了。只能上地板。。。

可以卧室地毯，外面地板，厨房和厕所地砖
卧室里，不穿外面的鞋，要脏也脏不到哪里去吧，除非喜欢在卧室吃饭的

等我有了钱，每个房子都铺地板，然后买最好的地毯，给每个家庭成员作一双拖鞋。

从家居装饰的角度看，carpet也不如地板+rug美观。
当然也可以在carpet上放rug，不过有累赘的感觉。
