short sale,银行很磨蹭两个多月了还没approve，但现在租房的lease快到期了，agent
让我们先搬到买的房子里，象什么刷墙啊，修补啊什么都先不要弄，付给现在房主房租
，住在里面等到银行approve，可行么？我觉得太麻烦了，万一最后银行不通过怎么办
？岂不是太被动了？

If the rent is lower than market and this house is your style, It is OK.

1. what if the sale is not approved
2. who knows how much longer it'll take
3. what about inspection/loan etc, 100% sure there won't be any problem?
4. if it's approved and no problem with inspection etc, 刷墙啊，修补啊什么
will be much harder with your furniture in the house

right, definitely wait for the sale settled.
I gave my apt notice but the house closed one week late, and I had to stay
in the hotel for one week, the seller allowed me to put the stuff in the
garage first. too bad.
do not rush, go month by month lease and wait till you get the key and then
give 30 day notice. some apt allow you change the notice date once though.
so you can give a little early on the first time.

谢谢大家的建议。我们刚刚听到agent这么说的确也感到很疯狂。房子离可以住的
condition还差很远，agent担心最后银行不通过所以让我们不要做太多的修补，但她却
不考虑我们万一不通过我们还要搬出去。还给我们出主意刷墙的时候可以把家具集中然
后一个一个房间来。看来我要和现在的landlord商量商量了。
