Yes, you can do this very easy, just add a floor drain (which can tie into your existing shower drain). My suggestion is a to use a kerdi shower system (which include a very nice drain) to do the water proofing on the floor and walls. http://www.schluter.com/143.aspx I don't know why you need the whole bathroom floor to have water, but if your bathroom is large, maybe building a roman shower (also called a walk in shower or roll in shower) may just satisfy your need at less cost. Last you need to use some no so slip material as the floor if you have water on it all the time, my suggestion would be small size mosaic tiles (lots of grout line will reduce your chance of slip)
