No. Maybe I am wrong. I got that CO info from the web. I read the
homedepot installation guide again for the gas dryer, it doesn't indicate
that the CO will be vented out from that metal pipe. There should be no CO
generated if there is enough air in the laundry room. The CO should not be
a concern.
The Gas price is way cheaper than electronic one. Remember that nowdays,
most electrity plant use gas to generate.
