看来garage的门还是不能常开# Living

昨天因为车库里面的垃圾桶有一些味道，我傍晚就把车库门打开了1个多小时通风。
我们在一个townhouse community，平常也经常看见邻居把garage door开着，感觉挺安
全，也就没多想。
结果今天居然发现我车上面的remote不工作了。感觉很可能就是有人企图偷偷pair他
的remote，结果不小心reset了我的remote。我只好赶快又reset remote，从新pair。
看来这以后garage door也不敢常开了。

这个。。。你说有人随身带车remote，在光天化日下跑到你车库，找了个提子踩上去，
试图pair up？真是贼胆包天！

不用梯子，只要个子不是很矮，伸手就可以碰到那个learn button。
我觉得有可能是那种drive by的闲人，看见了就停车拿车里自己的remote过来pair。

您给举6个可能的原因吧。
我实在想不出来还有那么多其他的可能

1) remote battery was disconnected and reset
2) power surge caused your garage controller to reset and erase memory
3) you passed by an MRI magnet at work and demagnetize your remote chips
4) your controller was nearly the end of its life and started to behave
strangely
5) your remote had a bad connection when you pressed the button
6) your main power was off at the moment of when you pressed the button
7) someone nearby pressed his/her remote at the same time when you pressed
yours, so your controller was confused
8) your remote was broken (or nearly broken);
9) at some point in the day, a drop of rain/water shorted your remote
circuit

这个门只能pair一个Remoter？

你这些的可能性早就被我排除后，我才怀疑的。问题是一切系统都正常，re-pair后也
都没问题。

我的remote是车自带的系统，没有自己的电池，用的是我车的12V。我车的battery很新
，如果reset了，我电台和clock也会被reset。
我的garage opener有自己的battery backup，而且停电了也不知道多少次了，从来没
出过这种情况。
不知道我车过MRI的可能性有多大？
这个garage opener是2年新的，一切都正常。
我的remote从来没这个问题
家里从昨天到今天从来没停过电。
我按了我的remote不只3次，后面才确认确实出了问题。

all of these are low probability situations, but they are probably just as "
possible" as what you had suspected
