You have spent $500 for the cooling fluid. I guess you need to add it for
one more time this year before October. So what's wrong to get a new set. It
costs you $500 to $600 dollars per years, And you save the electricity.
One trick is that how those service guys figured out you really had leakage
somewhere. None doing this business is honest with the customers. Once they
got to your house, they always tried to get more money out of your pocket.
Like the one in my house, the landlord, former tenant were keeping adding R-
22. But nothing was improved. Finally, yesterday, a guy tooke out the
evaporator case. You know what. The underside of the evaporator was pained
with a thick layer of dust and mold. This layer for sure blocks the air flow
in the evaporator and reduces the heat exchange. So, no mater how many
times you add the cooling agent, it would not improve the heat exchange in
the evaporator.
The worst and true thing in this country is that you should not trust those
damn ass service guys. they have no brain.
