昨天租的apartment被水淹了，水是楼上来的，他的热水器漏水，天花板泡了一个一米
多宽的大洞，墙皮大面积脱落，地毯上面也都是水，灯罩里面都积满了水，而且忽明忽
暗。我的天花板和楼上的地板之间估计有很多水，房东派人在天花板打洞放水，放出来
好几大桶。我感觉这里已经不能住人了，打算马上搬出去，但是现在问题是房东会不会
退我押金，因为按理说我要提前30天notice他，但是这个是突发情况，我实在不是一定
要搬，我是感觉这里可能不安全不健康，而且以后肯定会长霉，不知道大家能不能给我
一些法律上的建议。

建议先拍照，不管日后有什么纠纷，可能会有用

Should be OK. If you are concerned of your health, you can write to your
landlord to request to move out.
Before you find a new place to live you can require to live in a reasonable
hotel on your landlord's expenses. Of course you still pay rent during this
period if he covers your hotel cost.
This hotel expense should be covered by your landlord's insurance.
I know the rules but have never done this.

oh, really? I thought this person is still under contract so he still pays
rent.
