原来和律师谈好的价格是1000，我们这里average的律师费是这么多。明天要close了，
今天收到closing的费用清单，发现律师费居然涨成了1250. 如果当初他说charge 1250
的话，我绝对不会找这个律师了。
明天close的时候，我肯定会问律师怎么回事。但是如果律师坚持收的话，请问应该向
哪里投诉这个律师？是找district attorney吗？还是当地的bar association?

attorney can screw its clients in many ways, for example, they get a large
sum of kickbacks from the title company they use, some independent title
search company charges $200 for misc searches here in NY, but normally title
companies attorneys here "partner with" charge around $1000, go figure.
after all, compared with the $250 difference, imo the more important thing
is if it did other things properly, in my closing even the bank attorney
helped find some mistakes made by my attorney in closing costs

in NY, isn't that you pay half when signing the contract and another half in
closing? in their closing direction, they should mention how much a check
you should write for them
what's in HUD may be just the formalities, ex. NY lender title insurance is
much larger in HUD than in real closing cost

I know $250 is a small amount in a real estate deal. I just feel like being
cheated. I have already been unsatisfactory with this attorney b/c of other
things. I sent him an email to ask him why increase the charge. I won't give
up without a fight.

this attorney didn't ask me to pay him half when I signed the contract.
there is no written records of his charge. It's just an oral agreement
between him and I. If he is going to deny, I will end up paying. It sucks.

当然可以，在扭腰绝对可以free ride银行律师，楼主理解错误所以悲剧了。难道楼主
的agent没告诉买方律师不是必须的吗？oh wait, all buyer agents are cheaters.

完事以后到州律师协会投诉。
我们这里最近一个律师自杀了，据说因为乱收费要被律师协会吊销执照。

这事怪我当初偷懒了，用了agent推荐的律师。。没想到这么黑。。

律师 是最重要的, buyer agent全是骗子,
你就是把全部给buyer agent给1/4给律师都不过分,你自己比较下buyer agent和律师的
工作,buyer agent完全没有必要用, 你这个律师收费一点点高,但不算离谱

不是nyc。周围average的价格是1000，当初跟他谈成1000，我觉得还可以，才选的他。
但是只是口

买100万的房子buyer agent给你1万5，买50万的房子buyer agent给你7千5。哪有人付
钱给buyer agent？？？

就是律师费。今天close之前跟他打电话说了，他说因为我的case比较难做，所以他要
多charge钱。。。可惜当初没有跟他签律师费的合同，现在只有被宰了

老中还是老外律师? 中国人律师一般都是$800 全包, 当然title search 和房形图都
另算. 老外律师又烂又贪. 只有close后再投诉试试.
基本有中国人能干的是都找中国人, 老外非常不可靠. 律师/agent都不成.

支持这条，
buyer agent根本没有必要。
有互联网了，大家自己多查信息，根本没必要找什么buyer agent，多支付2-3%的
commission fee。
说骗子也太严重了点，但是绝对是没有创造那么多价值。

没有buyer agent，谁给开门？

美国人。拽得不得了。这次得教训了，老美都是靠不住的。

我前天close的一单很复杂的带两个Lot的，律师费 600.
你这个太贵了，以前谈价的时候有email 吗？ 拒绝买owner title insurance，拒绝付
款---就是你付款的时候故意少付给他钱，律师费先不要付，先close。

我看他绝对有，要同情精神病，督促精神病早看病，早吃药，避免危害社会和网络。
