Want to ask for your opinion:
A house which is close to hills, but takes 15 minutes to the main busy road,
and 50 minutes to work. Vs.
A house which is close to the main busy road (not on the busy road, but 1
minute driving), takes 35 minutes to work.

The same school district. Houses are not very different. The one close to
the main road is a little bit bigger, but not much different. The one close
to hills probably needs a bit work on floor and windows. Other than that,
they're very similar. Price is similar. The one close to hills definitely
has better privacy. It's not close to any main road, and requires around 15
minutes to get to freeway.
Which one do you think is better? For self living.

Yes, I am hesitating which one to pick. First time buyer. Don't have any
experience. Which one is better you think? The one close to hills has
better location I think, but it takes 15 more minutes to get to work. I don'
t know whether it's a plus or minus. Thank you!

busy road 到底有多busy？最好到房子里或后院去多呆一会儿，注意噪音，如果没有
什么噪音的化，我会选择离上班近的房子，15分钟差别不小了。

Thank you so much! We tried to listen to the noises. In day time, we can
almost ignore the noise. I believe at night if we open the window we'll hear
the noise from the traffic. But inside the house I don't think that's a
problem at all.
In terms of location (privacy), the one close to hills is definitely better.
But I also feel 15 more minutes is too much for one way commute to work. To
get to the main road, there're many stop signs, which is why it takes so
long.

听起来好像是高速公路。在什么地方？你们在院子里的时间多不多？有的地方气候差
，一年没有多少时间适合常在院子里待着，但是有的地方气候非常好，很多人喜欢经常
在院子里活动。这些都是需要考虑的。

We have decided to make an offer to the one close to main street to avoid
long time commute. Thank everyone so much!
