Job Summary :
A Control Systems Engineer is responsible for developing the technical
deliverables required for a robot control system of 3WD Compact Omni-
Directional Arduino Compatible Mobile Robot Kits http://www.robotshop.com/en/3wd-compact-omni-directional-mobile-robot-kit.html. This position is responsible for the overall control system include the components such as Simultaneous Localization and Mapping (SLAM), Adaptive Monte Carlo Localization (AMCL), and path planning. Candidates with control experiences in stabilizing platforms are preferred.
Job Responsibilities:
Design and test controls algorithms on a robot kit to implement the path
following function of robots
Design and test the control schemas for a robot team (at least 3 robots) to
perform path planning, attitude control, and collision avoidance
Design GUI and visualization systems to enable scenario management
Design and test control algorithms for platform stabilization
