用了几年comcast internet 最近打算换一换发现这几年市场变化很大啊
如果只需internet 根本没有promotion
verizon现在装DSL必须要配搭phone service
如果只要DSL 要找象earthlink这样的小公司 3 month's promotion后$50/month
现在一直有promotion 比较划算的还是 fios or comcast tv/internet/phone
bundle.

comcast has 29.99/mo for 25mbps 1 yr internet only. tomorrow I am going to
switch to fios, 40/mo for 50/25 with 2 yr contract.

how did you get comcast 29.99/mo for 25mbps 1 yr internet?
I tried both calling and internet chatting with comcast customer service but
didn't get any offer.

$30/month 15/5 mbps for exisiting optional network terminal with 2 yr
contract
+ tax, fee, equip charges
Verizon的这些杂费可能也要$10了

but
then it must be region dependent. I can see this offer on this page:

my fios is activated today. speed-wise it is similar to comcast blast. the
final cost is around $47/mo (I used my own router, so, no additional
equipment charges)

The other thing is that all kind of fee and taxes piled up. The price of
the broadband may be just 25 bucks, but with the fees it can go up to 50's.

why am I paying almost $60 a month(for internet) for <15M speed?
and you can pay half and get 25M speed.
