纠结抽油烟机这事有一阵子了，为了不安装 makeup air，只能选择一个400CFM或者更
低点的range hood. 但现在的问题是我怎么都找不到30 inch宽的 300-400CFM(最好是
接近400的)同时又带baffle filter的那种不锈钢under cabinet的机子，因为builder
要给我在墙上打vent的出口，需要知道具体型号的抽油烟机才能决定 duct的尺寸和具
体cabinet的高度。机子定不下来，我一下子也不知道back splash的砖该怎么贴，贴多
高。
外观价钱各方面喜欢的range hood都得600-900CFM, 真实苦恼啊。
有高人给指点下吧！

你说的这个 AK7100AS-BF 看上去不错！这个是Gust系列的，不是ACT.

因为这个型号流量最大就是400 CFM, 所以不用管ACT.
上面那两个型号, 流量最大都可以到650 CFM, 所以有ACT,
现在还搞不清楚, ACT用硬件接线 还是软件程序在控制,
如果知道了怎么搞, 理论上是可以安装的时候, 设定成390 CFM,
然后以后再改成650 CFM,

我觉得ACT 像是软件设置的390 CFM,我在想，难道设成390后就真的是390了，反而还没
不带ACT的400CFM好啊，还是说有人查的时候用ACT应付，平时就最大650用着。

我查了下，GardenWeb上有人解释：ACT is Adjusted by moving a jumper on the
control panel. A jumper is just a removable short. The control board will
have a series of pins onto which to place the jumper. I bet that CFM numbers
are printed on the board so you will know where to insert the jumper to get
your desired max-speed.

上面提到了怎么设置，就是按几下按钮就行。
ACT Verification

其实就是把motor的转速调低点，说白了390CFM的设置跟Gust 系列那个400CFM的应该很
相近，这个ACT唯一的好处就是能帮助house owner应付检查，但带ACT的机子都比较贵。

神器2也要makeup air吗？ 这些机器要符合什么code吗？

IRC 2009的code是任何超过400CFM的hood都要make up air. 不过如果不是新盖房，而
且没有那么air tight的话，我觉得不必须严格按照这个标准。

这里只是看设定, 不能更改的,
应该是要上线路版上跳线,

一般都没事，也许只有你卖房的时候，inspection的时候如果当地有这个code，
inspector 会提到吧，不过愿意买你房的人一般不会在乎这些。
