Evidence of your original scientific, scholarly, artistic, athletic, or
business-related contributions of major significance to the field
虽然没说一定要至少是全国的。但是每一个词都很有含金量。 original 挺好证明的
，推荐信专家说的就是证明这个的的
但是major significant 有点儿难。
请问如果：
我能证明我是我们城市的某个部门第一个做这种
事情的人。而我们城市在这方面全国排名第7。
可以证明我的贡献是significant 吗？
而我做的东西又在全国有应用，是不是可以证明 major

Due deligence都要到了，loan都conditional approved，apprasial report还没影呢
（processor讲report还在他们内部审核，没有finalize）
本来还打算万一apprasial valule比卖价低可以再讲讲价的
现在倒是银行催着签“appraisal delivery waiver”了

是要证明international，而不是全国，你申请的不是国家利益豁免，申请eb1类谈全国
不如谈国际

一个城市city一个部门第一个做，怎么证明你的国际影响力?无法理解你的思路，也就
说隔壁城市的另外一个部门也有人早比你做?
那这东西申请国家利益豁免都有危险。
一定要高瞻远瞩，这东西也写出来等于告诉io，这个申请人没其他好料，连这样的老底
都秀出来了。

去找银行催一下，一般report是在做了appraisal inspection的三天之内出来，但是如
果碰到report需要revision不符合compliance的规定的话可能会拖一两天。

最后，你做的东西全国都有应用是亮点，如果能证明国际上都有应用才是更大的亮点，
能戳中io的神经，立马approve。

写错了，不是一个城市的一个部门，是一个城市的某一个方面，比方说整个城市的公
共艺术。
而我们城市在公共艺术方面全国排名最近几年第 5到7名，在这个杂志上有排名http://www.americanstyle.com/

很谢谢你。
国际上是有应用。是因为我的作品被commerialized
但是siginificant 很难证明啊（无报道，无publication）
是不是自己给io说我的东西有国际应用也可以证明siginificant
还是一定要推荐人也说这些东西在国际上应用就是significant
original 挺好说的，牛人的信可以证明 original
这个思路要整理好了才可以有的放矢的写推荐信

没法说啊，因为是绘画作品，卖的很少。
只能说commerialized
利润少的可怜，
跟有专利的没法比啊

作为艺术来说，我不认可这种表达贡献的方式，如果要证明你有影响力，起码期刊要发
表并highlight，或者重要展览获奖，或者reported by major media。即使你说的城市
的排名，也要证明这个榜单与你的作品及你个人有直接关系，说到底还是要pubishing
material,不然空口无凭。

IO 让答复 “major significance in the field” 的时候说可以提供：
1）Testimony/or support letters from experts which discuss the beneficiary;
s contributions of major significance
2）Evidence of the beneficiary's work being implemented by others
要证明这个IO说可以提供：
2.1） Contracts with companies using the beneficiary's products
对于Contracts with companies。
1) 我有作品被国内，国际公司复制出售。一个公司根据zoominfo $25 mil. - $50
mil. in Revenue
另一个公司zoominfo $5 mil. - $10 mil.in Revenue
这个应该是商业应用了吧。
不知道商业应用还需要证明什么呢。
2) 还有我制作我的艺术品的视频放在vimeo 上被加拿大的法语电视台发现，经过改编
制作后在电视台的一个固定documentary节目中播出。
这个电视台是加拿大最大的法语电视台。
这个是不是能让推荐信证明一下2）

对于商业应用我也没有经验哦，我个人美术类觉得不合适，
USCIS 说的很明确这条是给 performing arts，
摘抄自USCIS：REQUEST FOR EVIDENCE
Evidence of commercial successes in the performing arts, as shown by box
office receipts or record, cassette, compact disk, or video sales.
Notes: This criterion focuses on volume of sales and box office receipts as
a measure of the beneficiary’s commercial success in the performing arts.
The mere fact that the beneficiary has recorded and released musical
compilations or performed in theatrical, motion picture or television
productions would be insufficient, in and of itself. The evidence must show
that the volume of sales and box office receipts reflect the beneficiary’s
commercial success relative to others involved in similar pursuits in the
performing arts.

要证明这个IO说可以提供：

难不成前面这两个还要被主流媒体报道了才算。那这样EB1a 要是有主流媒体报道这一
项，那什么都可以claim了。
这个版上讲商业应用的实在是太少了。

用销售额作为证据之一支持 contributions应该可以。让电视台出证明是必须的，以此
表示你的作品被报道引用（虽然不是个人），而且也要证明电视台的受众范围，数量，
最好有电视台的排名。
贡献要先列出两三个，为什么是原创，要专业化文字说明，再通俗化文字说明其好处，
接下来是证据证明它们是major significance,
贡献的证明，USCIS曾说过，最常规的要么是获奖，要么是大量的独立引用，来表明你
在领域里的影响力。
摘抄自USCIS：REQUEST FOR EVIDENCE, 里面也提到了你的RFE
the petitioner may submit:
• Objective documentary evidence of the significance of the
beneficiary’s contribution to the field.
• Documentary evidence that people throughout the field currently
consider the beneficiary’s work important.
• Testimony and/or support letters from experts which discuss the
beneficiary’s contributions of major significance.
• Evidence that the beneficiary’s major significant contribution(s)
has provoked widespread public commentary in the field or has been widely
cited.
• Evidence of the beneficiary’s work being implemented by others.
Possible evidence may include but is not limited to:
o Contracts with companies using the beneficiary’s products;
o Licensed technology being used by others;
o Patents currently being utilized and shown to be significant to the field.
Note: Letters and testimonies, if submitted, must provide as much detail as
possible about the beneficiary’s contribution and must explain, in detail,
how the contribution was “original” (not merely replicating the work of
others) and how they were of “major” significance. General statements
regarding the importance of the endeavors which are not supported by
documentary evidence are insufficient.
