condo 二楼.今天HOA要求我尽快拆除地板,他们documents上写着，不允许装地板，但又
写了，owner requires put down area rug. 我想铺个大垫子不就行了吗？为什么一定
要拆除地板。还有，我买房前，看过其它几家二楼都装了地板。为什么只让我拆，不
让别人拆呢？这种情况可以跟他们打官司吗？

别人是你一个楼里的吗？各个HOA 的Bylaw是不一样的。你能证明HOA只是针对你也行。

有可能是以前装的，grandfathered in。我这边HOA开会就有人说为吗有人装不同颜色
的门，HOA秘书说已经查过了，是很早以前在这个规定以前装的，规定之前的不究之后
的不行。

楼上说的对，也许他们很早就装了。在规定之前，我再跟HOA discuss 一下。真正不行
的话，那就只能拆了。谢谢大家。

hoa怎么知道的你家是地板，还到你家视察吗？这管得也太多了吧？

地板上放地毯就行了。难道把地毯直接放水泥或层板上？？？？

The Association does not allow hardwood or laminate flooring in units that
are on the second
floor that is above another unit. The Association will respond to noise
complaints that emanate from
hardwood or laminate floors. Owners may be required to put down area rugs
or in more severe
cases re-install carpet in the problem areas of the unit.

楼下的邻居是HOA 的director. 所以喜欢找事，我都还没住进去，就是上次在里面呆一
个小时，打扫卫生。她说我走在地板上很吵我也不知道这种情况，怎么处理。

install carpet on top of hardwood floor.
