情况是这样的：
最近买了一个condo, 5/12 offer accepted, 6/17 closed.
7月份入住，最近收到HOA的一封信，上办年condo粉刷有assessment fee, 原订每户$
1200, 这笔钱seller已经付了。但最后有额外的工作超了预算，现在要每户加收第二笔
$500 assessment fee， due date 12/1/16. 原通知的时间是5/31, 在close date之前
, 但显然seller没付，所以现在又来找我了。大家说说这笔费用是否应该我付？还是应
该找seller？

如果是close之前seller就知道，但没有付、也没有disclose的话，seller应该是有责
任的。第一步应该问你的agent（agent有责任提供完整的disclosure），如果有你有
owner title insurance的话，第二步就是问律师了。

更新一下，最后是正式信件联系了owner title insurance，刚收到回复cover了：
“I have reviewed your claim for the special assessment on the above
captioned property.
It appears the assessment happened in the gap period between when we ordered
the status letter from the association and your closing.
We will be taking care of this for you and I will get a check out today to
the association.”
谢谢建议，买房owner title insurance看来还是有用的。
