你要是LOWES的便宜窗户,我觉得还不如HD的,我俩家都买过
比较起来HD的JW质量要好一些.我是200刀装一个HANDYMAN给弄的
窗户300刀一个差不多,一万就下来了,LOWES的人也是外面找的
我建议你迎风的一边上好的窗户,比如冬天刮北风的话,北面
可以考虑上TRIPLE的好窗户,我上的一般的,暴风雨的时候雨水
还是能渗进来,后悔没上高档的了.

这些公司都是找本地窗户厂用最廉价方式生产的。安装也是最便宜的工人。一扇窗户超
过四百就是被宰的不行了。
vinyl是比较便宜的窗户。防台风都是屁话。你要真防台风， 你要再装storm windows.
真不知道你们怎么想的。为什么不直接找窗户厂购买。

vinyl是比较便宜的窗户。防台风都是屁话。你要真防台风， 你要再装storm windows.

下雨漏是因为caulking没做好，和窗户有啥关系。

LOWES好么，我觉得不好，关窗户的时候很松，有的能从TRACK里掉下来
开关也很松，晃晃荡荡的，不知道窗户是怎么能密封。

you are correct. When installing window, make sure don't remove the old
frame, instead use metal saw to cut the aluminum frame if it does not flash
with the stucco.
Last month, my installer used windows from a local company in Fremont,CA, he
said it is cheaper and better than hd or lowes.

好像是这样的，换了框的漏，没换的不漏，不过不换框，窗户明显小了很多

don't know how this works but the original windows have fins that go into
the walls.
replacement window doesn't. so a lot of caulk has to be used to seal it
my wife sells windows and that's why i still haven't replaced my original
windows

sorry. 说反了，是home depot 的好
当初先是买的low窗户， 半道因为hd有打折就阴差阳错用了hd的窗户。 hd窗口那个自
动卡死开关很好，不像Lowes,关好后还的自己扳下去。

caulking is fine if the gap is very small. To keep gap very small, you may
cut the frame vertically to keep the window flash with the stacco. You can
not take the frame out, nor should you cut the frame horizontally.
