I started with shopper about half year ago. For me, shopper means far more
than 20% off GC. So far, my account gets about $700 for CB(including the
purchase of my friends, but I am not running on ebiz).
Admittedly that you can never save more by spending more, shopper is helpful
to me at least in several kinds of spends:
1. Travel
priceline 10%
expedia 5%
orbitz 5%
travelocity 5%
hotwire 10%
For me, without shoppers rebate, I will still travel, in and outside the
United States. Cashback on this is more like rewards for me. Most of us also
have some opportunities to register for air tickets and hotels for friends
or other family members. It is good time to make money. In Nov., I purchased
airline tickets for two guys from China and I earned about $120 (5% at
orbitz). Till now, travel cash back is still making up the major part of my
shopper account.
2. Health Care & beauty
walgreens 10%
puritan's 10%~12% depends
GNC 16%
CVS does not have cashback. But you can get CVS GC at 20% off!
Macy's 10%
Nordstrom 10%
Bloomingdales 10%
Sephora 10%
Lancome 14%
Clinique 10%
philosophy 10%
Biotherm 10%
Personally I do not have need for that, but my friends in China do. If
someone wants you to get some for her/him, just go ahead to earn the money.
Actually you can buy GC (like Macy's and Bloomingdales' GC) at shopper and
use them when you are making online purchasing, 20%+10%=30% off. Since
beauty products do not often have deals, it saves you a lot.
3. Electronic Stores and Office
Newegg 5%
Bestbuy 5%
Ebay 5%
Apple Store 5%
Dell Home 5%
HP home 5%
MacMall 10%
Lenovo 10%
Microsoft 7%
Office Depot 5%
Office Max 10%
TargetDirect 10%
Usually when you need to buy a electric device, you have to buy. A Thinkpad
saves you $60 to over $100. If you get one for your friends, it earns you $
100.
I am just a poor student who is on the second year here. Hopefully everyone
can get more from shopper than me :)
