Not true for many not so old sidings with aluminum or plastic.

That depends on what kind of walls and what kind of paint was on it to begin
with.
Painted wood lap siding with cheap paint will peel in less than 5 years.
There paint out there that carry a life time warranty if used with their
primer, so it should never need to painted a second time unless you want to
change color.
I would not suggest you use spray, brush and roll is best. But you can
sprayer to spread the paint first and back roll.
Vinyl or AL siding never needs painting.

Most exterior paint jobs can only last 3~5 years, if it's perfectly done,
might hit 7 years. 10 years? Tough luck.
You don't need to paint on stucco.
