Periodontist will charge much higher than general dentist, and actually in a
general dentist office, it is not the general dentist who does the
cleaning....usually it is the hygienist(a person specialized in tooth
cleaning) in the clinic who will do the cleaning for you, and the hygienist is
supervised by the dentist---that means after the cleaning, general dentist
will check the result of cleaning and your teeth. If the general dentist
decides that your teeth and gum condition needs further per
