妈妈55岁了，最近到了晚上总是会莫名其妙的发烧，38度多，白天看着很正常。这样的
情况已经持续了2，3个月了。去医院检查了血液，做了X光，可是没有看出有什么异常
。非常非常担心，这不是听着很危险么？
还有什么检查可以做？或者有什么可能的推测么？谢谢大家了

fever of unknown origin,
very few info you have, generally speaking when you can't find any
infectious process for the cause of fever, need to look into rheumatological
process or malignancy,
she'd need a TEE to rule out endocarditis, as well,

you can try this, once an oncologist told me, give naprosyn, if that reduces
the fever, it's likely to be tumor fever,

啊，忘了问了，如果胸腔有肿瘤的话X光不能看到么？怎么能发现是哪里有肿瘤？全身
CT?

if the tumor is big enough, x-ray might show it, CT is better,
PET scan is probably the best, but has more radiation to it,
