昨天总算拿到了纸质的合同，签完字后算是尘埃落定了。新学校说９月份开始计算工资
，到９月底才发。我本来计划７月底就是在薄厚试验室结束的，但是因为合同上说德州
的新雇员健康保险要６０天的等待期，这样自己要买３个月保险（８，９，１０），我
就在考虑是不是通过自己还没有休完的假期和可能的unpaidleave来保持８月份的
payroll获得当前雇主的健康保险支持。有新入职的过来人说说你们的经验吗，老ＰＩ
对薄厚的这点小心思觉得算比较过分还是一般般还好啦？
多谢大家建议意见！

看dealsea上面写通过蓝宝石可以赚到BA，貌似也可以转到AA的？
Points in Chase Sapphire Card can be transferred to participating frequent
traveler programs at a 1:1 value. (Chase's rewards program ultimaterewards.

British Airways Miles: can also be transferred to American Airline Frequent

From my offer letter: "The Texas Legislature has enacted a 60-day waiting-
period for payment of health insurance premiums for new employees. In
essence, this means that new employees may obtain coverage under the state
plan on their first day, but the state will not assist with premium payment
until the 60-day waiting period has been satisfied."
and I found some more info by google "New Employee Benefits Guide for State
Employees" and the first pdf link also stated the same description that most
new state employee will have 60 days waiting period with some exceptions.
Is this a employer discretion or general to all Texas new hires? Any ideas?

你理解错了。是作为政府雇员，政府该掏的那部分保费要等60天后才给你补上，免得你
刚来就跑路，政府吃亏。这个应该是政府跟保险公司的协议导致的。
