If you try to get Amex 100k points and still try to cancel the card for the
first year, that is way too greedy, 猥琐 and unecessary. Shame on you.
Pay $450 annual fee and cancel after a year is quite normal. Bank expect
some people to do that.
Not sure why buying a lot of GC is 猥琐. I don't know what the difference is
between 100 people buying 1 GC each vs 1 people buying 100 GCs. Same
outcome to the bank and OfficeMax. And I am not sure there is a 2 card per
person rule(I am not sure, did not jump on this deal. )
Same logic about not sure why buying a lot of VR is bad. Bank does not lose
money unless reward is over 2X. CVS may lose some, but it's common practice
for a store to sell some products without profit so that they can sell some
with profit. (Think Costco's $1.50 hotdog and 7-11's milk)
