MERL is seeking a highly motivated, qualified individual to join our 3 month
internship program to carry research in the area of fault detection in
electric power system, particularly in systems with multiple interconnected
distributed energy resources. The ideal candidate should have significant
knowledge of analysis and simulation of power distribution systems. Strong
background in signal processing and experience with simulation tools such as
Matlab are required. Familiarity with international standards such as IEEE
1547 and IEEE P2030 will be a bonus. Candidates should be PhD students with
a good record of research and initiative.
