我有这张卡。我不知道是不是唯一有chip无年费无foreign fee的卡
这张卡直接换cash或者statement balance不是100:1，很不划算。但travel类别的
transaction，此卡可以100:1 redeem statement credit。不一定非得机票，公交地铁
的pass之类都算travel类别

最近在加拿大一直用的这个卡，有chip很方便，而且汇率也还不错。VISA认可度也很高
，discover基本没人收，来了将近一个月了只刷过3次discover，别的基本就是travel
rewards了。

BoA的chip基本没有意义。在有人值守的收款机一般都可以刷磁条。而如果无人值守的
话，在瑞士和法国的自助售票机上被decline，电话BoA说看不到交易。Chase Marriott
用在同一个机器上毫无问题。如果要没年费的可以考虑Andrew's FCU的GlobeTrek，

chip在一些国家，主要是欧洲和英属国家比较普遍，在无年费无外汇手续费的卡中，
boa travel算很不错的，不过有些hotel卡相当于每年费，也是不错选择，例如hyatt

Chip: 最近citi的卡几乎都可以换成chip版了..citi thankyou preferred 没年费拿到
就是chip的 但是应该有foreign transaction fee.
后来citi forward也换成chip版了 无年费也无境外手续费! .. 现有的卡online就可以
免费要求mail来个新的chip卡

有的pos机芯片和磁条都可以读, 但是境外卡只能chip刷, 磁条就decline, 在中国遇到
过很多次

I have one citi card with a chip but never tried to use it because of
foreign transaction fees.
I have stayed in France/Switzerland for two years with US cards. Basically
you only need to pay automatic vendor machines with chip cards, like public
transportation and parking. Otherwise, regular US cards are accepted.
If you need to shop online in Europe, you have to obtain a local card.
International cards are not recognized by most online merchants.

citi forward for international students没有。。。至少banker说没有
