因为有50credit for $250 offer, 在amextravel.com订了两天的旅馆，结果今天NYC
大雨，航班都取消了，只能明天到。打电话给amextravel，被告知他们只是第三方，不
能取消预定，只能交两天的钱，没有任何exception! 真倒霉呀，以后再不要他们订
了

不行呀，因为amextravel是prepaid的，他们自己都说cancel 非常restrict。

那是因为你没有定那种临时可以cancel的，那种rate比较高。

得看你有没有买信用卡的travel insurance，免费给你reimburse是没有哪个信用卡愿
意这么干。。。

不懂就别乱说，这类insurance从来不用额外买。很多信用卡自带Travel
interruption reimbursement，根本不用另外买，随便贴一段CSP的：
TRIP CANCELLATION/TRIP INTERRUPTION INSURANCE*
If your trip is canceled or cut short by sickness, severe weather and other
covered situations, you can be reimbursed up to $5,000 per trip for your pre
-paid, non-refundable travel expenses, including passenger fares, tours, and
hotels.

faint，这种reimbursement和买的那种insurance不同。我去年坐cruise就是用的CSP，
反复询问了它的reimbursement policy，很多条件不适用，后来自己另花了200刀买的
insurance。当时在travel版有个和我同样经历的，但是没有自己买insurance，通过信
用卡去申述reimbursement，一分钱都没有拿回来。。。你要是不服气，自己去用信用
卡申述吧。。。

看信用卡条款，很多所谓的insurance都是很难达到条件的。。。

楼主的问题很多卡都能达到要求，我知道的至少蓝宝石肯定满足了

包括下雨这种理由？很多信用卡的所谓insurance是指你生病的。

lz这个应该让那个航空公司给你证明航班取消了. 这个不可抗力因素,是可以取消旅馆
的.如果amex 不给取消,应该只是他不想做吧.

可以直接给旅馆打
然后过去刷卡的价格改变下，少一天
我以前这么做过
在priceline上定的，人家也说要找旅馆
旅馆是烙印开的，还比较好商量
不过我定了一周的取消了一天，你这个只有两天
就看旅馆了

自己看手册啊, 下面quote SAP的
"Severe weather, which prevents a reasonable and prudent person
from beginning or continuing on a Covered Trip"
"If a trip cancellation occurs, the Company will reimburse you or an
Immediate Family Member for the non-refundable amounts paid up to
Trip Cancellation & Trip Interruption Maximum limit of Insurance per
Occurrence of five thousand ($5,000.00) dollars for each claim on a
Covered Trip. "
