八月后万豪gold升platinum (for the balance of 2018),目前争论焦点在于matched
gold (from SPG)算不算？
对此我没看到有关官方特别说明区分Gold Status的来源。网上网友互相回复也是各执
一词。
下面link是采访万豪高管的一段内容，也是目前唯一就这个问题直接回答的出处。里面
明确指出了Gold升Platinum，不论是matched还是earned。
“It’s a bit of a ‘status shortcut’, but as Peggy Fang Roe explains, “as
long as you’re a Gold in Marriott, you’re going to become a Platinum
Elite (in the new program): that’s the rule, so even if you were to link
your (SPG and Marriott) accounts now, you would (get Platinum status in

还是个人理解：如果万豪在年中突然变化人为划分两种不同的Gold，给与明显不同的福
利（等于突然剥脱一批gold顾客的福利），这个未免太mean了。怎么也要等到过了年新
系统正式改名再说了。
当然，以上只是记者报道，存在误解可能性。还是应该等8月份后官方正式通知为准。
我更关心的是8月份后AMEX 的SPG Luxury卡： 1）bonus给多少（another 10万？）2）
AMEX怎么向SPG转点？新SPG拿1:2了，加上SPG原有的相当于1:1.25 to airline，这是1

最后一段，8月1号以后的新SPG卡，花1块钱得2点Marriott点数（8月1号以后SPG点数都
不存在了）。
所以转点就是花1块钱，得0.83里程（已经加上了25%加成）。不如几乎所有里程卡。

new ratio will be 3 points for one mile.
Plus, starting in August, we’ll add 15,000 points for every 60,000 points
you transfer to airline miles, providing you with a total of 25,000 miles in
the airline program of your choice.

尼玛这个3：1太坑爹了，还打算用SPG换个别航空里程，这下没的玩了。
而且这个6万给1万5表面看还是25%，但是门槛提高了3倍，以前每20000就能转拿bonus
了，现在你得凑够每60000才行，更烂了。
算了下，目前SPG花$10万可以换125000里程，8月后花$10万大约只能换8万多一点里程
了，等于损失50%。。。
看看明年以后会不会改变吧。

刷spg 换mileage 8/1以后已经dead了，只几个月 ，狂刷吧。 spg个人卡刷到75K,
double dip,一刀三点最后机会，8/1号upgrade 成spg luxury卡，75k spend carried
