I have been working for the same company for almost two years, and when I
finished the first year, I asked my Manager and HR to apply Green Card for
me, HR said they need to discuss on the executive meeting. Then My manager
told me the executive board has passed my request. Then I asked my HR to
start the process, she seemed quite slow, and always delay and delay.
My Manager left the company in May, since then I have asked my HR several
times, and she always responded I would let you know. Now it has been 9
months since I brought up this issue, and there is still no actual progress.
What should I do, should I look for the next job? or continue to pest HR.
I don't obviously understand why HR try to postpone this again and again.
Any ideas?
