Zoom PS-2 3 track recorder, there is a drum machine onboard(cannot be
programmed, but pretty practical). It uses smartmedia card. The price is
around $300. Pretty cool. If you want a better one, try Boss br532 with $400.
Mine is Zoom mrs1044, man, it's awesome!!!

1. you can use computer, if your computer is powerful
enough. the most important part is the hard drive, 7200rmp
is a must.
2. if you want to buy a little 4 track, I can sell mine to you :)
I think gogowanda want to sell his as well. Anyway, it is convinent,
but I only use it to record my teacher's lick.
3. I suggest you wait for the GNX3 as me, very good multi-effect
for heavy music, and with a build-in 8 track recorder, which use
