母亲今年82岁，这个周末刚刚从西海岸我姐那边住了两个月回来。回来之后发现她情绪
不高，好像有些糊涂，说自己找不到自己的药和衣服。开始只以为是换了个环境，这两
天东岸下雨也冷。可是从周一开始她突然开始乱说话，东一句西一句，还说晚上做噩
梦，见到蛇在咬她。周一晚上她也没睡好觉，今天还是一会清醒，一会乱说。
母亲以前一直神智清楚，逻辑清晰。上周电话里说话还特别清楚。除了眼睛基本失明，
身体没有其它毛病。网上查了一下，有可能是depression or dementia (Alzheimer's)
。约了医生明天去看。祈祷大家可以帮助。

There is a research scientist opening for an ongoing project on image-guided
robot assisted surgical training system, in the Institute for Infocomm
Research, Agency for Science, Technology and Research, Singapore.
The candidate will take the task of developing organ deformation model for
instrument-organ interaction. His/Her main scope of work will include
research and development of the deformable model with the soft tissue
physical properties and medical image processing. He/she will work with
other scientists and engineers to integrate the developed virtual models
with robotic control and other components. He/she will also assist clinician
to develop and evaluate the performance matrix of the system. The position
is contract based, with possible renewal. Remuneration depends on the
experience and performance. The candidate is expected to join the team no
later than the end of 2011.
Job Scope:
. Research on the construction and validation of physics models for soft
body organ
. Study and develop new models in medical image processing.
. Assist in the development of surgical simulation system
Requirements
. A PhD in Electrical/Mechanical/Computer Engineering or equivalent
. Good track record on research publications and/or system development
. Good knowledge of and experience with object modeling
. Knowledge of, experience or practice in these areas will be an added
advantage:
C++ programming knowledge and skills
OpenGL, GPU programming, especially PhysX
Image processing skills including segmentation, registration

困惑我很久的問題……最近來灣區呆幾個月，想找幾個以前的老朋友自娛自樂。不過來
美國幾年都是一個人在玩，現在想大家一起玩不知道怎麼找場地，求版上大神指點～
