新爸有2个问题望好心人能回答
1. 小孩是必须要去领馆才能办吗？
2. 同时是否也要办美国护照，以便到时回美吗？出境的时侯出示什么证件（旅行证还
是美国护照?)

if your baby is born in the USA, he/she needs a US passport to travel and a
visa to go to China.
For US passport application, you need one passport photo and birth
certificate.

多谢回答，现在我们都没有绿卡什么的，宝宝不用办visa吧
你说的这个visa好像是没有旅行证的才要办吧？

If your kid is born in the USA, he/she needs the USA passport to travel
internationally, and your kid still
qualified to be a US citizen even you and your wife don't have the green
card. Every baby needs the passport
to travel.
And your kid needs the travel visa to go to China.

出美国用美国护照，入中国用旅行证，去纽约办旅行证需要孩子去，纽约办旅行证的时
候不需要出示美国护照。

境的。当然他回
